Master Disaster Cleanup ("we", "us") restores homes and businesses after water, fire, and mold damage in Utah. This policy explains what information we collect when you call us, when we work on your property, and when you visit this website, and what we do with it.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you call us or we work on your property, you may give us:

  • your name, phone number, and the property's address;
  • your insurance company, policy and claim numbers, and your adjuster's contact details;
  • details about what happened and who owns or manages the property.

If you refer a job to us, or ask for a walkthrough of a commercial property, on our website, the form collects your name, company, phone number, and email, and the property's address. A referral also includes the customer's name, address, phone number, and a short description of the damage. Please only refer someone who has agreed to hear from us.

Information we record on the job

To do the work and document your insurance claim, we take photos and video of the damage and of your belongings, moisture and air-quality readings, room measurements, and an inventory of anything we pack out, clean, or dispose of.

Information collected automatically

Our phone system logs the number you call from, the time and length of the call, and which ad or page led you to call. When you visit this website, cookies and analytics tools collect technical information such as:

  • your IP address and approximate location;
  • browser and device type;
  • the pages you visit and how long you stay.

We use this to understand how people find us and to improve the site and our advertising.

2. How we use your information

  • To dispatch a crew, inspect the damage, and do the work.
  • To document the loss and bill your insurance company directly.
  • To schedule visits and keep you updated on your job.
  • To improve our website, our advertising, and our service.
  • To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.

We don't send marketing emails or texts.

3. Sharing your information

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • with your insurance company and adjuster, to document and bill your claim;
  • with certified partners we bring in for part of your job (for example, asbestos testing), and only what they need for that work;
  • with service providers that run our phones, website, analytics, and advertising;
  • with legal authorities, when the law requires it.

Everyone we share with is expected to protect your information and use it only for the purpose we gave it to them.

4. Your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings.
  • You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Call us at the number below.

We keep job records, photos, and readings for as long as your claim and the law require, then delete them.

5. Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

6. Third-party links

This website may link to other websites. We aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

7. Children's privacy

Our services aren't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
